Our eelgrass survey is designed to gather valuable data about eelgrass populations, distribution, & overall health.
FIELD ASSESSMENTS
SDS will conduct field assessments to identify and map eelgrass beds. We employ various techniques, such as underwater visual surveys, transect sampling, and aerial surveys using drones or aircraft, to gather data on eelgrass distribution and abundance.
MAPPING & ANALYSIS
Our team utilizes Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and specialized software to analyze collected data and generate detailed maps of eelgrass distribution.
